Description
The rapid growth of the power industry and green energy technologies will increase the job opportunities and required high scaled skill hands in this area. Our nation ranks as one of the largest countries in renewable energy production which includes significantly use of wind, solar, biomass, etc. The resource augmentation and its use in energy technologies have not been kept in pace to match the increasing energy demand, leaving significant energy shortages in India. The proposed webinar would provide a collective information to the participants to gain knowledge about AI application in the Renewable Energy Integrated Power Systems.

Dr. Brijesh Singh is dynamic and resourceful researcher and academician with over 12 years of experience in the field of Electrical Engineering (04 years in research and 08 years as an academician). He did his doctorate in Electrical Engineering (Power Systems) from IIT (BHU) Varanasi in year 2014. Presently, He is working as Associate Professor in the Department of Electrical & Electronics Engineering.
Dr. Singh’s group conducts research in the Power market operational study and security analysis, Smart grid operations and Solar (PV) system integration, and interdisciplinary area of conservation of electrical energy. The research spans a wide range of areas ranging from studying fundamental concepts in power systems to developing new technologies for next generation requirements (such as power market dynamics, HVDC, power electronics systems operations and utilization of solar energy). His research contributions in the power engineering community and have resulted in over 35 peer-reviewed publications to date. He is also member of various profession and societies.
